🔴 Zamalek: End of the road for José Peseiro! (Official)

The Egyptian club Zamalek announced this Wednesday, May 7, via an official statement on its social media, that a mutual agreement has been reached with Portuguese coach José Peseiro to end their collaboration after just 82 days.
In its statement, Zamalek specified:
"Agreement between Zamalek and José Peseiro to amicably terminate the contract.
We wish him the best of luck in his future endeavors."
Zamalek had appointed Peseiro to replace Swiss coach Christian Gross, but due to the team's poor results and the dissatisfaction of Zamalek supporters with his performance, the club's board, led by Hussein Labib, decided to end the contract by mutual consent.
The team was knocked out of both the CAF Confederation Cup and the League Cup, but managed to reach the final of the Egypt Cup. Currently, Zamalek sits third in the Egyptian Premier League table with 40 points.
Who could succeed Peseiro as head coach?
According to the Egyptian site "FilGoal," Egyptian coach Ayman El-Ramadi, former manager of Ceramica club, is the frontrunner to take over at Zamalek after a meeting with club officials.
The technical staff set to join El-Ramadi at Zamalek would include Ahmed Mostafa "Bebo," Ahmed Samir, and Emad El-Mandouh, who would serve as goalkeeping coach.
