2026 Ballon d'Or: PSG president has chosen his favourites

This year, Paris Saint-Germain have 10 players in contention for the 2026 Ballon d'Or. PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi has made his choices.

With 10 representatives among the 30 nominees for the 2026 Ballon d'Or, Paris Saint-Germain have a number of serious contenders, such as Ousmane Dembélé, Fabian Ruiz and Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, for this individual award. Yesterday, PSG president Nasser Al-Khelaïfi gave his opinion on the race for the Ballon d'Or.

"I have great respect for both players, Kylian Mbappé and Lamine Yamal. They are exceptional players. I know Kylian very well, obviously. He is an incredible, talented player and certainly one of the best in the world. But I would obviously choose one of my own players. We have three: Dembélé, Kvara and also Fabian Ruiz. Ruiz is the only one to have won every trophy. So I think Dembélé, Kvara and Ruiz deserve it because they have won everything. I think they played very well; they were fantastic," the Qatari said to the press.

The winner will be revealed in London on 26 October.
