World Cup 2026: Ghana vs Mexico friendly confirmed

The Ghana national team continues to ramp up preparations ahead of the FIFA World Cup 2026. The Ghana Football Association has confirmed a crucial international friendly to be held in May as part of their build-up program.

Ghana is set to face Mexico in an international friendly on May 22, 2026, in the final stretch before the FIFA World Cup 2026 kicks off.

Both teams will use this clash to assess players eligible for the tournament, which will take place across Mexico, Canada, and the United States. Ghana's squad will feature players from both the domestic league and European competitions, all under the watchful eye of coach Otto Addo.
