2026 World Cup: Marcelo names his top favorite

Real Madrid legend Marcelo has revealed his favorite for the 2026 World Cup.

Marcelo shared his thoughts on the 2026 World Cup during a chat with YouTuber DjMaRiiO. For the Real Madrid icon, the tournament looks wide open, but he places his own country among the frontrunners: "This is the first World Cup where every team will be at the peak of their form. France, Brazil, Spain... there are about five teams that can win it. Watch out for Brazil and Ancelotti. We are always favorites. Brazil is the Real Madrid of national teams."

Marcelo also took the opportunity to discuss his career choices and his views on young talent: "Right now, I would sign Pedri for Real Madrid. He has the qualities of a Real Madrid player. Everyone would say Lamine, but I think Pedri would be a better signing."
