After suffering a serious right knee injury in September 2024, Rodri struggled to regain his best form. But at last, everything went his way this summer.

The Spanish midfielder delivered an outstanding 2026 World Cup. His remarkable performance inspired him to send a warning to future generations.

"I really hope young people see that a player who touches the sky, then falls to hell, can come back. It's an exercise in surpassing oneself," he declared on the Spanish channel La 1.

Rodri was named the best player of this 2026 World Cup.
