Before facing Cristiano Ronaldo's Portugal in the round of 16 of this 2026 World Cup, Pedri is already looking ahead to the tournament's final.

The FC Barcelona midfielder has his sights set even further ahead. He dreams of a potential final between Spain and Lionel Messi's Argentina. Pedri didn't hide his admiration for his former Barcelona teammate.

"That dream would be incredible, because it would mean we’ve reached the World Cup final. I love watching him play, just like I loved training with him every day. What he does is insane. For me, he’s the best player in history," the La Roja midfielder told AS.
