Zimbabwean referee Brighton Chimene has been appointed to officiate the 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifier between Tanzania and Guinea-Bissau.

The match is scheduled for Thursday, September 24, 2026, as part of the first round of the 2027 AFCON qualifiers. The game will be played at Amaan Stadium in Zanzibar with Brighton Chimene in charge of this crucial fixture. He will be assisted by three compatriots.
