2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers: Sudan unveils its squad for Matchdays 1 and 2

With just a few days to go before the resumption of the TotalEnergies CAF PAMOJA 2027 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers, Sudan’s head coach James Kwesi Appiah has unveiled his squad. The Falcons of Jediane are looking to build on their performance at the last Africa Cup of Nations in Morocco.

A squad for two crucial matches

The Ghanaian manager has announced the names of the players selected for this September international window. Sudan will face Ethiopia on 25 September in Juba, followed by Mozambique on 29 September at Maputo Stadium.

Having taken part in the previous edition, Sudan were knocked out after finishing third in Group E. This time, their ambition is clear: to qualify for the finals, which will be held in Uganda, Tanzania and Kenya.
