A former Kaizer Chiefs player is expected to join Raja Casablanca!

Fresh off his appointment at Raja Casablanca, Nasredine Nabi has already set his sights on a familiar face—Kaizer Chiefs’ center-back, Inacio Miguel. The Tunisian tactician officially took the reins of the Moroccan powerhouse last week, stepping in after the club parted ways with Fadlu Davids, whose inability to clinch the league title ultimately cost him his job.

Now, Nabi is wasting no time reshaping his squad, and at the top of his wishlist is the Angolan defender he knows inside out. Interestingly, Miguel’s arrival at Chiefs came directly through Nabi’s own endorsement, having brought him over from Petro Luanda during his own stint in South Africa. That prior collaboration clearly left a lasting impression, as Nabi is now keen to lure the 28-year-old to North Africa.

However, prying Miguel away from Amakhosi won’t be straightforward. The player still has one year left on his contract with the Soweto giants, meaning any potential deal would require Raja to cough up a transfer fee. Whether the Moroccan club is willing to meet Chiefs’ valuation remains to be seen, but Nabi’s interest signals his intent to build a defense around a player he trusts implicitly.
