A Ligue 1 club shows interest in Jonas Adjetey

Centre-back Jonas Adjetey could soon be on his way out of FC Basel. According to Sport, French side RC Lens are ramping up their pursuit of the Ghanaian defender, viewing him as a top transfer target.

The potential transfer fee is estimated at €10 million, and Adjetey is reportedly attracted by the Lens project. So far, no official offer has been made by the French club. FC Basel, having already lost Adrian Leon Barisic, could see another defender depart, while Adjetey remains under contract until 2028. Basel’s trip to FC Zurich this Sunday could mark his final appearance for the Swiss side.
