Álvaro Arbeloa could soon find himself back in a top role in European football. According to multiple sources, the former Real Madrid manager is in negotiations with Fulham to succeed Marco Silva.

Free since leaving the Madrid club in 2026, the Spaniard has caught the eye of the London side, who are searching for a fresh project to reboot their Premier League campaign. Fulham sees him as a promising candidate, capable of bringing a high-level European playing identity to the squad.

This potential return to England would also carry symbolic weight, as Arbeloa previously played in the Premier League with West Ham. His spell on the Real Madrid bench was not crowned with success, ending with a trophyless season and early exits from both domestic and European competitions. Nevertheless, his work with the club's youth teams remains highly respected.
