Abdellah Khafifi’s Future at Raja Casablanca in Doubt
Some reports indicated that Moroccan player Abdellah Khafifi, defender of Raja Casablanca, set condition to extend his contract, which expires at the end of the current season.
According to these reports, the 32 year old defender's asking for 400,000 us dollar to sign new contract, figure that Raja's management considered unrealistic due to the club's ongoing financial crises.
Club’s Financial Struggles
There's huge economic crisis hitting Raja Casablanca which makes it difficult to meet Khafifi's needs and during that period the club's trying to convince him to reduce his demands to secure agreement for the next season.
Continuing with what the reports indicated, Khafifi received better financial offer from Libyan club, exceeding the possible renewal deal for Raja and during the winter transfer period last Jan, he requested to leave after receiving offer from Gulf club, but Raja refused to give him up.
Khafifi’s Performance This Season
