Transfer: Diatta Attracts Interest from Several European Clubs, Including Marseille
Senegal international KrΓ©pin Diatta (27 years old) has been drawing the attention of several European clubs since his contract with AS Monaco ended on June 30.
OM faces competition from English and German clubs
According to Foot Mercato, Olympique de Marseille has inquired about signing the Senegalese winger, who is currently a free agent. However, at this point, this interest has not yet led to the start of official negotiations.
The Marseille club is not alone in the race. In Germany, Schalke 04 are also closely monitoring the former Monaco playerβs situation. In England, Everton and Ipswich Town are considering making a move to secure the Senegalese internationalβs services.
KrΓ©pin Diatta joined AS Monaco in January 2021 from Club Brugge and went on to play 143 matches for the Principality side, scoring 8 goals and providing 7 assists.
On the international stage, Diatta boasts solid experience with the Senegal national team. The 27-year-old has earned 64 caps for the Lions of Teranga.
He featured in the 2026 Africa Cup of Nations and played every match for Senegal at the 2026 World Cup.
