Akor Adams has moved to shut down speculation linking him with a summer move to Marseille, insisting that his focus remains firmly on Sevilla.

the Nigerian striker made it clear that he pays little attention to the rumours swirling around his future.

I haven’t heard anything about it, but it’s the transfer window and there will always be a lot of rumours. It’s not important for me right now. I have a contract with Sevilla and we’ve just come through a difficult season,” Adams said.

The former Montpellier forward also reaffirmed his commitment to the Andalusian club.

Everything will depend on what happens, but I’m happy in Seville. Rumours are part of football, but it’s not something I’m thinking about at the moment.

Adams arrived in Spain during the winter window but endured a challenging start, failing to score in his first six months. Despite those difficulties, several European clubs — including Marseille — continue to track his situation as they look to strengthen their attacking options.

Under contract with Sevilla until 2029, the 25‑year‑old is valued at €15 million by Transfermarkt. Rumours suggest Marseille are preparing an offer in the region of €18 million, while Sevilla are reportedly holding out for around €25 million and are unwilling to let their player leave on the cheap.

For now, Adams insists he is happy in Seville. But with a significant gap between the interested club’s valuation and the selling club’s demands, the coming weeks will determine whether his stance is tested by a formal approach. The striker’s future remains unresolved, but his message is clear: for the moment, he is not entertaining a move.
