Al Nassr: Cristiano Ronaldo present against Al Ittihad? The verdict is in

Although he returned to training after the strike a few days ago—sparked in part by Karim Benzema's transfer to Al Hilal—Cristiano Ronaldo will not play against Al Ittihad.

This week, Cristiano Ronaldo made headlines. The transfer of Karim Benzema to Al Hilal did not sit well with the Portuguese superstar. In his view, his club Al Nassr has been disadvantaged by the PIF, the public investment fund that owns all three clubs in question (plus Al-Ahli).

After refusing to play against Al Riyadh in protest, Cristiano Ronaldo was expected for the Saudi Pro League classic against Al Ittihad this Friday. However, the five-time Ballon d'Or winner will not feature in this clash against the league's sixth-placed team.

According to information from Ariyadhiah, Ronaldo has chosen to postpone his return to competition. This latest development once again casts doubt over the former Real Madrid star's future in Saudi Arabia.
