Portuguese legend Cristiano Ronaldo has joined Morocco’s Abderrazak Hamdallah at the top of Al-Nassr’s all-time scoring chart in Asian competitions. The two forwards now have 16 goals each.

C. Ronaldo equals historic record

The Portuguese forward reached this total by scoring against Uzbek club Neftchi Fergana on the second matchday of the West Zone of the AFC Champions League Elite.

Al-Nassr’s captain scored his team’s second goal in their 3-1 victory.

This goal was Ronaldo’s first in the current edition of the competition. The Portuguese forward had already scored six times in the 2023-24 edition of the AFC Champions League, followed by eight goals the following season. He had also scored once in the AFC Champions League 2.

With this latest goal, Ronaldo has taken his tally to 16 and joined Hamdallah at the top of Al-Nassr’s scoring chart in Asian competitions. Brazil’s Anderson Talisca is third with 11 goals.

Cristiano Ronaldo: just 19 goals away from 1,000!
