Alexander-Arnold expresses confidence in José Mourinho

José Mourinho's arrival at Real Madrid has already sparked tremendous excitement in the dressing room. Trent Alexander-Arnold has spoken highly of the Portuguese tactician, convinced he will steer the club back to winning ways.

Speaking to Real Madrid’s media team, the English defender shared his admiration for Mourinho, whom he considers one of the best managers in world football.

It's fantastic. I have always admired Mourinho. I’ve faced him several times and it’s a pleasure to work with him and his staff. The training sessions are extremely intense.

Alexander-Arnold believes that this level of discipline will benefit the squad. The 27-year-old says he is eager to learn from the Portuguese coach and to see the team progress as the season unfolds:

We are all ready to learn and improve. I am convinced he will help us grow and lead us to trophies.

After finishing as runners-up in Spain last season, Real Madrid are counting on José Mourinho to reignite their domestic and European ambitions. The first feedback from the players already points to an excellent relationship between the manager and his squad.
