Alexander Sørloth is considering leaving Atletico Madrid; unhappy with the limited playing time he is getting!

Alexander Sørloth's time at Atlético Madrid appears to be nearing its end, with the Norwegian striker intent on securing a winter exit.

His primary motivation is a search for a club where he can be a central figure on the pitch, consistently playing the full 90 minutes. This drive stems from a larger ambition: to finish the season in peak condition ahead of the 2026 World Cup.

The player’s decision is driven by his desire to be fully prepared for the World Cup and gain valuable match practice.

Should a move fail to materialize in the January window, his resolve to depart remains firm, with a summer exit being the subsequent plan. This season has seen Sørloth largely confined to a substitute role, making his tally of two goals from fourteen appearances across all competitions a testament to his limited opportunities. According to the latest estimates, the market currently values him at €25 million.
