Algeria: FAF issues a stern warning, this will hurt!

The Algerian Football Federation has decided to lay down the law. In a statement released this Friday on its official website, the organization strongly condemned the "abusive and unauthorized" use of its emblems, logo, and the national team's image in advertising or commercial campaigns without prior approval.

FAF's exclusive property

The FAF emphatically reminded everyone that these elements "constitute exclusive property" and may under no circumstances be used for promotional purposes without express authorization. The statement specifies that "the unauthorized use of these emblems, the logo, and the image of the national teams constitutes a violation of current regulations and exposes offenders to legal action." This clear warning is intended to put an end to the abusive practices observed in recent months, where the image of the Greens has been exploited by certain economic players without official validation.

Legal action in case of infringement

In its statement, the FAF calls on "all economic operators, media partners, and institutions to respect its rights and to contact its competent departments for any official collaboration." The organization concludes by stressing that it reserves "the right to take any necessary action, including legal proceedings, to protect its symbolic heritage, its image rights, and the integrity of the national team."
