Amane Romeo targeted by FC Copenhagen

FC Copenhagen is closely monitoring Amane Romeo ahead of the upcoming transfer window. The Ivorian midfielder from Rapid Vienna is among the profiles being followed by the Danish club to bolster their central midfield.

Trained at BK Häcken, the 22-year-old joined Austria in January 2025. Since then, he has established himself as a regular in the Rapid Vienna squad, making 62 appearances, scoring two goals, and providing four assists. His consistent performances have caught the eye of several European clubs, including Copenhagen, who are looking to add more quality and depth to their midfield.

But negotiations are expected to be complicated. The Austrian club is reportedly demanding around €6 million to let their player go, with his contract running until 2029. The deal remains open, but will largely depend on the Danish club’s financial capacity.
