Betway Premiership side AmaZulu FC have completed the signing of prolific striker Moses Shumah from Zambian MTN Super League ouffit Power Dynamos.

The 23-year-old arrives in South Africa on the back of winning the Golden Boot in the Zambian topflight division, scoring a staggering 21 goals last season.

Shumah, who joined Dynamos in July 2025 from Kakamega Homeboyz in his native Kenya, netted a total of 23 goals across all competitions in the previous campaign.

His scoring prowess helped Dynamos clinch the Super League title, and he will be eager to replicate his exploits in the rigorous South African elite league next term.

“Shumah has completed a transfer to South African Premier Soccer League (PSL) side AmaZulu FC after the club reached an agreement with the Durban-based outfit,” read the Dynamos statement.

"Although he had a year remaining on his contract, the striker has opted to join the South African outfit.

"Shumah joined Power Dynamos from Kakamega Homeboyz in July last year and enjoyed a breakthrough season at Arthur Davies Stadium, winning the MTN Super League Golden Boot after scoring 21 goals.

"He departs the club having scored 23 goals in all competitions during his time with Power Dynamos.

AmaZulu head coach Arthur Zwane will be hoping for the Kenya international to hit the ground running as they look to secure a spot in CAF inter-club competitions next season.

Usuthu marginally missed out on continental football after finishing the 2025/26 Betway Premiership campaign in fourth place with 47 points accumulated.
