Anderlecht and West Brom interested in Zamalek defender

Several media outlets have recently reported European interest in Egyptian defender Hossam Abdelmaguid, who plays for Zamalek SC, ahead of the upcoming summer transfer window.

According to a source close to the player, reports of official offers from West Bromwich Albion and RSC Anderlecht are still premature.

For now, it's simply exploratory interest, with no concrete proposal submitted to Zamalek.

The same source states that the defender plans to meet with club officials at the end of the season to discuss his future and seriously consider a potential move abroad.

After a solid season, Abdelmaguid has played 32 matches across all competitions, scoring six goals.

His contract with Zamalek runs until the end of next season. According to Transfermarkt, his market value is estimated at around €1.8 million.
