Hossam Abdelmeguid: the highly sought-after Egyptian

Egyptian defender Hossam Abdelmeguid is drawing attention from Anderlecht, as well as Al-Ahly and several clubs from the Gulf region.

Nearly 25 years old, Abdelmeguid is looking to leave Zamalek next summer, following an impressive Africa Cup of Nations campaign. He is under contract with his club until June 2027 and already has 10 caps for the Egyptian national team.

This season, he has stood out in the Egyptian Premier League, notably providing 3 assists. His market value is estimated at €1.8 million.
