Angers and Jean-Eudes Aholou, it's over!
Jean-Eudes Aholou

Jean-Eudes Aholou has officially left Angers this Tuesday, June 24, 2025. By mutual agreement, the 31-year-old player and the Angers club management have terminated his contract, which was originally set to run until June 2026.

After spending just one season in Angers colors, Jean-Eudes Aholou turns the page. Having joined on a free transfer from Strasbourg in the summer of 2024, the Ivorian midfielder has had his contract amicably terminated by SCO. The news was officially announced by the club this morning. The reasons behind this split remain unknown.

Arriving in the summer of 2024 from Strasbourg, Aholou experienced a busy season with SCO. Starting 25 times in Ligue 1, he played a total of 26 matches and netted two goals. With extensive Ligue 1 experience (Monaco, Saint-Étienne, Strasbourg), the 31-year-old could soon bounce back at a club looking for a solid and seasoned midfielder.
