Anthony Martial is a free agent

It's official: Anthony Martial is no longer a CF Monterrey player. The Mexican club and the French forward have mutually agreed to end their association.

Having arrived last September, Martial ultimately spent just one season in Mexico. Over 20 appearances, he scored one goal and provided three assists. His time at the club was hampered by a shoulder injury sustained in February, which sidelined him for several weeks. His last match came on March 18 against Cruz Azul.

At 30, the former Manchester United player is now a free agent and can sign with any club of his choosing. Looking ahead, several French clubs are reportedly interested in his profile, including OGC Nice, Paris FC, and Troyes.
