Arsenal are close to signing Barcola, Liverpool are watching closely!

After opting to try and sign Vinicius Junior from Real Madrid, Arsenal are now turning their attention to Paris Saint-Germain to try and sign Bradley Barcola, who is one of the most prominent young faces at the French club.

The 23-year-old French star's contract expires in the summer of 2028, although he has refused to renew it in search of a suitable opportunity, as press reports indicate. He is currently one of the most sought-after players in the world, and Liverpool were the first to show interest in him.

Arsenal enter the race with Barcola!

TEAMtalk reports that Arsenal have only recently decided to throw their hat into the ring, with the club determined to bolster their attacking options through whatever means available.
Mikel Arteta had initially set his sights on Vinícius Júnior, and although negotiations with the Brazilian had reached an advanced stage, the winger ultimately chose to commit his future to Real Madrid by signing a new contract that runs through 2032. Keen to bounce back from that significant blow, the Gunners have now reached out to Barcola’s representatives over the past few hours, as per the same English source.

Although Liverpool had made significant progress in signing Paris Saint-Germain to bring in the 23-year-old player, Arsenal recently entered the race to sign him and are strongly competing with Liverpool for the deal.
