Arsenal: Bruno Guimarães reveals the message he received from Declan Rice
Officially announced this Saturday, Bruno Guimarães' transfer to Arsenal already comes with a witty message from his new teammate Declan Rice.
After having their initial bid rejected, Arsenal have confirmed the arrival of Bruno Guimarães from Newcastle. The Gunners splashed out £75 million, around €87 million, for the 28-year-old Brazilian, who has signed a four-year contract with an option for a further year and will wear the number 39 shirt. He leaves the Magpies after 195 appearances, 31 goals, and a League Cup triumph in 2025.

Declan Rice calls for an end to the fights
In his first interview with Arsenal's official channel, Guimarães revealed a humorous message from his new teammate:
"Declan Rice sent me a message: 'Come here and, please, no more fighting. Now we're friends.' I was happy he sent me that message. I think I need a challenge like this."
A nod to the fierce battles the two midfielders have had in the Premier League. Now, they'll have to learn to play side by side.
