Arsenal wants defensive reinforcements for its squad

OneFootball reports that Romano believes the Gunners still have a particular position they could improve despite building a strong squad.

Arsenal invested heavily during the previous transfer window and have assembled a squad designed to compete across several competitions. However, squad depth remains a key consideration over a long season.

The club’s recruitment strategy has increasingly focused on adding players capable of competing at the highest level while also providing tactical flexibility. Any future defensive signing would therefore need to fit into Mikel Arteta’s existing structure.

A January move would depend on player availability, financial considerations and Arsenal’s assessment of their squad after the opening months of the season.
