Arsenal: Mikel Arteta extends contract, Arsène Wenger-like longevity!
Arsenal have announced the extension of Mikel Arteta’s contract until 2030. Last season, the Spaniard led the London club to their first English league title since 2004.
“It is an honour for me to commit my future to this club and to continue working with exceptional people who want the best for Arsenal,” said the 44-year-old manager, whose contract was due to expire at the end of this season.
“This club is unique, with its own character and the feeling it provides, and I am extremely proud that our shared journey will continue. We have already built a special bond and created memories that will last a lifetime. And what is truly exciting is that this is only the beginning of what we can achieve together,” he continued.
