The race is in full swing for a place in the final phase of the Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON 2027).

The continental tournament is scheduled to take place from June 19 to July 17, 2027, in Kenya, Uganda and Tanzania.

Among the teams that have taken a serious step toward qualification after just two matchdays, DR Congo first defeated Equatorial Guinea (2-0), before beating Zimbabwe 2-1.

With a market value of €90 million, the dynamic Ivorian winger is the most expensive player in these AFCON 2027 qualifiers.

The Abidjan native saw his market value soar after a successful season with RB Leipzig in the previous campaign.

Ayyoub Bouaddi (Morocco)

The Moroccan midfielder is the second-most valuable player, with a market value of €80 million.

This represents a spectacular rise for the former player of French lower-division club FC Bourgoin-Jallieu, who moved to England in 2019, initially joining Brentford before moving to Manchester United.
