Arsenal monitoring young Brazilian talent

Always looking to the future, Arsenal has set its sights on another promising prospect. According to Globo, the London club is closely tracking Iago Machado, a 16-year-old defender currently playing for Corinthians.

No immediate signing is planned. The Gunners are reportedly prepared to wait until February 2027, when the player turns 18 and becomes eligible to move to Europe. Meanwhile, Machado's name is firmly on the club's shortlist.

A future international in the making, Iago Machado is currently playing with Corinthians' U20 squad and is regarded as one of the brightest prospects in the Brazilian club's academy.
