Arsenal continues to shape its future. After securing Ezri Konsa, the London club is now looking to sign two Manchester United prospects: James Scanlon and Habeeb Ogunneye.

Two targeted profiles

According to The Telegraph, Arsenal is pushing hard to land the signatures of 19-year-old James Scanlon and 20-year-old Habeeb Ogunneye. Scanlon, a Gibraltar international, primarily plays as a winger or attacking midfielder. With Manchester United's U21s, he has racked up 8 goals and 6 assists in 51 appearances.

Ogunneye, a right-back, has made 41 appearances for United's U21s, providing two assists. Neither player has yet featured for Manchester United's first team.

Arsenal looking to take the initiative

The Gunners' interest appears genuine. The Athletic also reports that Arsenal is confident of wrapping up both deals. The London club is eager to strengthen its pool of young talent while anticipating the future needs of its first team.

It's a coherent strategy for Arsenal. Scanlon offers an exciting attacking profile, while Ogunneye could provide extra depth at right-back.
