Arsenal: Vinicius, Mikel Arteta laughs it off in front of the media
In recent days, Real Madrid winger Vinicius Jr has been linked with Arsenal. This Saturday, Gunners boss Mikel Arteta once again addressed the subject.
Following Arsenal's 4-1 friendly win over Girona last night, Gunners manager Mikel Arteta was asked about the London club's transfer activity. "We are really very active, we're trying to improve and evolve the team. That's obvious. We expect changes in the coming weeks, of course, because we want to get better like everyone else. We're not sitting on our hands, and we're very ambitious about what we want to accomplish," the Spaniard revealed.

Mikel Arteta later left the mixed zone laughing when a journalist asked him about the date of the Real Madrid star’s signing, Vinicius Jr. For now, it seems the Brazilian international winger is more likely to extend his contract at Madrid.
His current contract expires in June 2027.
