Aston Villa and Crystal Palace are competing for Youssouf Fofana!

Press reports have revealed that Crystal Palace and Aston Villa are very interested in signing AC Milan's outstanding midfielder Youssouf Fofana, and talks are still ongoing between the two clubs to explore the possibility of signing the player and bringing him to the Premier League.

According to Tribuna, Italian journalist Nicolo Schira confirmed that there is genuine interest from Premier League clubs Aston Villa and Crystal Palace, and that there is also genuine interest from several other clubs, most of them from within the English league.

Nottingham Forest were also among those interested in signing the player, who made 36 appearances for AC Milan last season.

Robin Amorim seems to have indicated that he doesn't want the French player in his plans, which will certainly facilitate his departure from the team. The player, who is currently with Monaco, is valued at €20 million.
