Aston Villa are expected to sign a new goalkeeper from Bejaia next season, at the request of experienced Spanish coach Unai Emery, and according to The Athletic, Aston Villa have identified Guillame Restes as a potential target for the goalkeeper position.

Sources close to the player indicate that Sutton Villa contacted the player and his representatives to gauge their interest and understand their real concerns about signing him, as well as to present the best financial offer to the player.
Aston Villa are also expected to offer €20 million as an initial bid, and another player who may be of interest to the Villans is the Japanese player, Zion Suzuki, who performed exceptionally well in the 2026 World Cup before their exit against Brazil.
