Atlético de Madrid: Diego Simeone declares his love for the club

Speaking to the press this Saturday, Diego Simeone delivered powerful words about his club since 2011, Atletico Madrid.

Diego Simeone is currently the most loyal coach among Europe’s top teams. Since 2011, Simeone has sat on the Colchoneros’ bench. Adored by the fans and universally respected for his ability to establish Atletico among the elite of the Old Continent, the Argentine is undisputed in Madrid. Untouchable, he continues to guide his team to shine, as seen in the brilliant victory over Barça in the first leg of the Copa del Rey semi-final.

Present at the press conference yesterday after the superb victory, El Cholo declared his passion for the Madrid club. "I can’t find the words to describe what I feel for this club. I am grateful for the affection I receive. And I am also grateful to the players who represent football with the same passion as I do. But I have no words to describe it." he said.

This Sunday, Atlético make a short trip across the capital to face Rayo Vallecano (4:15 PM).
