Atlético Madrid: Ademola Lookman's new number unveiled

Ademola Lookman has officially left Atalanta. The Nigerian star has signed with Atlético Madrid, and on Tuesday night, the Madrid club announced the new number for the 2024 African Ballon d'Or winner.

Following the agreement finalized on Sunday, Atlético Madrid confirmed the arrival of Ademola Lookman yesterday. The Nigerian forward joins from Atalanta Bergamo in a transfer deal reported to be worth nearly 40 million euros—a major signing for Los Colchoneros, with their new recruit committed until 2030.

On Tuesday, Atlético Madrid made it official: Ademola Lookman will wear the number 22 jersey. The Nigerian international is set to make his mark in Madrid with his new squad number.
