Atlético Madrid: Julian Alvarez still determined to pack his bags
Closely tracked by FC Barcelona in recent days, Julian Alvarez might not join the Catalan club this summer. But nothing has changed for the Argentine international—he’s determined to pack his bags and leave Los Colchoneros.
Held back by Atletico Madrid this summer despite persistent interest from FC Barcelona, Julian Alvarez is still eager to depart the Madrid side. According to AS, the Argentine forward was even prepared to leave for Real Madrid, having already given his green light to Los Merengues.
This Sunday, despite his club's firm stance, the Argentine international striker remains intent on signing for the Catalan giants. However, with the transfer window nearing its close, the former Manchester City man is reportedly also considering a Premier League return, with Arsenal having shown strong interest for some time now.
