Julián Álvarez has decided to make a significant change to his entourage. According to the latest reports from the Spanish press, notably the daily newspaper AS, the Atlético Madrid striker has ended his collaboration with his agent Fernando Hidalgo.
The Argentina international was reportedly disappointed by the way his future was handled during the last summer transfer window. After several weeks of speculation surrounding his future, the 26-year-old has therefore reportedly chosen to turn the page and will soon entrust his interests to a new representative.
A new agent expected soon
Álvarez is now expected to consider several options before making his final choice. His entourage is already working to find a new structure capable of supporting him during the next stage of his career.
This decision comes as his name has been regularly linked with several major European clubs in recent months. The former Manchester City player nevertheless remains under contract with Atlético until June 2030, putting the Madrid club in a strong position regarding his future.
Still a very high market value
Despite a turbulent summer, Julián Álvarez remains one of the most highly valued strikers on the market. According to the latest estimates reported in Spain, his current market value is estimated at around €110 million.
The Argentina World Cup winner thus remains one of the key players for Argentina and La Liga. His change of agent could now represent an important step before further discussions regarding the next stage of his career.
