Baleba close to Manchester United: personal terms agreed
The transfer of Cameroon international Carlos Baleba to Manchester United is edging closer. Both parties have agreed on personal terms, bringing the midfielder one step closer to joining the Red Devils.
An agreement reached between Baleba and Manchester United
According to German journalist Florian Plettenberg, Manchester United have reached a complete agreement with Carlos Baleba regarding the personal terms of his future contract.
The Manchester club must now convince Brighton to let go of their 22-year-old midfielder. According to the same source, the Red Devils have tabled an offer worth ÂŁ60 million plus an additional ÂŁ5 million in bonuses.
Despite this proposal, no definitive agreement has yet been reached between Manchester United and Brighton regarding the transfer fee. Negotiations between the two clubs are ongoing.
Since arriving at Brighton from Lille in the summer of 2023, Carlos Baleba has gradually established himself as a key figure in the squad. The Cameroonian midfielder has featured in 112 matches across all competitions, scoring 4 goals and providing 2 assists.
