Ballon d'or: "Bravo Hakimi, he deserves it," says Samir Nasri

Former French international Samir Nasri sees Achraf Hakimi as the 2025 Ballon d'Or winner.

In recent hours, Samir Nasri has shared his thoughts on the race for the next Ballon d'Or. In a video recorded at the Canal+ studios, the former French star didn't hesitate to take a stand. For Nasri, Achraf Hakimi truly deserves it.

"I think he's the best right-back or right-sided player in the world. It's only right to spotlight a player who isn't supposed to shine. He put up impressive stats, bravo, Hakimi deserves it," declared Nasri before turning his attention to Ousmane Dembélé and Lamine Yamal.

"I put Ousmane Dembélé ahead of Yamal, because he's had an extraordinary season, his character was decisive throughout the year. And because he's French, I'm not going to put someone else ahead of a Frenchman when there's a French player who can win it," explained the former Marseille man.
