Bamba Dieng in talks with two English clubs
There's a fresh twist in the saga surrounding Bamba Dieng's future in the past few hours.
While he was previously expected to join Amedspor in Turkey, Senegalese forward Bamba Dieng has ultimately decided against making the move. This comes after a shift in the context of negotiations, despite the deal previously seeming to be on the right track.
Bamba Dieng also received offers from Saudi Arabia, but his preference is clearly for a move to England. According to Foot Mercato, the former FC Lorient striker, who netted 10 goals in Ligue 1 last season, is currently in talks with Hull City, newly promoted to the Premier League.
Bamba Dieng is also negotiating with Middlesbrough, who were defeated by Hull City in last May's Championship play-off final for promotion to the Premier League. The Senegal international is hungry for a new challenge in England and is even willing to turn down lucrative offers from Saudi Arabia to make it happen.
