Barça preparing massive bid to snatch Julián Álvarez

Despite Atlético Madrid's firm refusal to let Julián Álvarez go, FC Barcelona shows no sign of backing down. According to the Spanish press, the Blaugrana are preparing a massive new offer to try to convince the Colchoneros.

The Julián Álvarez saga is far from over. While Atlético Madrid recently made clear their opposition to the striker's departure and announced plans to file a complaint against FC Barcelona following comments made by the player, the Catalan board apparently has not given up on luring him to Catalonia.

Indeed, according to information from El Chiringuito, Barça are preparing a fresh offensive estimated at €150 million. The offer reportedly includes a substantial fixed fee along with several performance-related bonuses for the Argentinian international.

However, the deal looks set to be particularly complicated. The Colchoneros remain adamantly opposed to selling their striker, whom they consider one of the cornerstones of their Madrid project.
