Barça wants to borrow 210 million to manage its transfer window

FC Barcelona is ready to mobilize major financial resources to strengthen its squad this summer. According to Cadena SER, the Catalan club has applied for a €210 million loan to support its transfer market activity.

This budget would notably be used to fund the arrivals of Karim Adeyemi and Julián Álvarez. While an agreement is reportedly already in place with the Borussia Dortmund winger, negotiations are ongoing with the German club, which is demanding around €40 million. However, the Julián Álvarez deal is shaping up to be much more complicated. Atlético de Madrid reportedly has no intention of letting their striker go for less than €150 million.

To make these deals possible, Barcelona plans to rely on a loan secured by its future revenues from television rights. This solution would allow the Spanish champions to keep strengthening their squad despite ongoing financial scrutiny and the demands of financial fair play regulations.
