Raphinha will continue his adventure at Barcelona. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Brazilian winger has already signed his contract extension with the Catalan club. The official announcement is expected on Friday, October 9.

A contract until 2030

The agreement between Raphinha, his representatives and Barcelona is reportedly now fully finalized. The Brazilian, whose current contract runs until 2028, is now expected to be tied to Barça until the end of the 2029-2030 season. According to Fabrizio Romano, the Catalan club is expected to officially announce the extension on Friday, on the eve of their home game against Getafe in La Liga.

Having joined Barça from Leeds United in July 2022, Raphinha has gradually established himself as one of the team’s attacking leaders. The Brazilian has scored 89 goals and provided 62 assists in 185 matches for the Catalan club.
This season, the Brazilian has been particularly impressive in front of goal, scoring 14 goals in eight appearances, including two hat-tricks in the last two La Liga matchdays against Racing Santander and Sevilla FC.

Official announcement imminent

Raphinha had notably been linked with several Saudi clubs in recent months. Barça ultimately chose to continue their journey with their captain. The length of the new contract is now known, but details regarding a potential release clause remain unknown.

The official announcement is therefore expected on Friday, with a presentation planned by Barcelona’s media team. According to Fabrizio Romano, all that remains is for the club to make the announcement.
