Supercomputer simulation by Opta leading football statistics provider, has named Barcelona as the top contender to win the UEFA Champions League this season following Liverpool’s shock elimination.

Shift in Favorites

Liverpool was previously the leading favorite with 23.9% chance of lifting the trophy but their exit at the hands of Paris Saint Germain in the Round of 16 has reshaped the predictions. Now Barcelona leads the race with 20.4% probability narrowly ahead of PSG 19.3%
