Bayern: Harry Kane negotiating a special clause

Harry Kane is closing in on a new agreement with Bayern Munich, but a few details remain to be settled. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations are well advanced financially. The contract length and the terms of a potential return to the Premier League, particularly Tottenham’s rights, still need to be defined.

Bayern and Kane close to an agreement

Under contract with Bayern Munich until a date that is fast approaching, Harry Kane is currently discussing an extension with the Bavarian club’s directors. Club president Herbert Hainer had already mentioned positive developments, while the England striker himself confirmed that negotiations were taking place.

According to Fabrizio Romano, discussions between the player, his brother Charlie Kane and Bayern are progressing well. The two parties are reportedly close to reaching a financial compromise, which now leaves room for talks over the other contract conditions. Barcelona and Manchester United have also been linked with the England striker, but an extension in Germany remains the focus of attention.

A clause to facilitate a return to Tottenham?

The main point of attention concerns the conditions of a potential return for Kane to England. According to Fabrizio Romano, negotiations notably concern a clause linked to the Premier League and priority rights granted to Tottenham. Before joining Bayern in 2023, Kane spent most of his professional career with Spurs, where he remains one of the club’s most notable figures. The possibility of a return to London could therefore be defined in his next contract.

The discussions must still determine the length of the extension and the precise terms of these clauses. On the pitch, the 33-year-old striker is continuing his strong run. He has already scored six goals and provided one assist in seven official matches this season. Since joining Bayern Munich, his statistics have also been remarkable, with 152 goals and 34 assists in 154 official appearances.
