Bayern: "I like this style of play," Ismael Saibari explains his choice

Weeks after his move to Bayern Munich was made official, Ismael Saibari has now been formally unveiled by the German club.

The Moroccan international took advantage of the press conference to discuss his decision to join the Bavarian side, especially after attracting significant interest following his impressive performances with PSV Eindhoven. The attacking midfielder Ismael Saibari was particularly drawn to the project and playing philosophy offered by Bayern Munich under Vincent Kompany.

"Bayern is one of the biggest clubs in the world. The style of play suits me as well. They gave me the confidence to develop here. Since Vincent Kompany arrived, Bayern have played with tremendous intensity. I experienced it myself last season. I like this style of play and I’m excited for this new challenge. My favorite position is as a playmaker, everyone knows that. But I can play in different roles. In a match, you always end up switching anyway. I can also play out wide and a bit deeper.", said Ismael Saibari.
