Bayern Munich interested in Dani Olmo

Dani Olmo is on Bayern Munich’s radar. According to Sky Sports, the German club is considering the possibility of signing the FC Barcelona attacking midfielder during the next winter transfer window.

Bayern monitoring Olmo

Having joined Barcelona from RB Leipzig in the summer of 2024, Dani Olmo quickly established himself in the Catalan project. Last season, the Spain international scored eight goals and provided nine assists in 49 appearances in all competitions. Since the start of the 2026-2027 season, the 28-year-old has already recorded three assists in seven La Liga matches.

According to Sky Sports, Bayern Munich could try to make a move as early as January. The Bavarian club is also monitoring the situation of several other attacking players, notably Jamal Musiala and Michael Olise, as part of discussions about strengthening its attacking department.

Olmo establishes himself with Spain

The attacking midfielder also remains an important player for the Spanish national team. He currently has 58 caps, 12 goals and 11 assists for La Roja. With Barcelona, he won La Liga last season, while the Catalan club began the new campaign with seven wins in seven league matches.

For now, Bayern’s interest remains at the discussion stage, but the German club could closely monitor Olmo’s situation as the January transfer window approaches. Dani Olmo does, however, have a contract with FC Barcelona until June 2030, which could complicate any potential deal.
