Bayern Munich wants to sign Jules Koundé

According to SPORT BILD journalist Christian Falk, the Bavarian giants are weighing up a January swoop for Jules Koundé. What appeals to them most about the French international is his versatility, given that he is comfortable both at right-back and in the heart of defence.

Bayern are keen to reinforce the right flank of their backline. While Vincent Kompany can call upon Konrad Laimer, Josip Stanišić and Sacha Boey, the club is reportedly of the view that Koundé would represent a step up in quality. That said, the Bavarians may need to offload Boey first before they can make a serious play for the Frenchman.
